Modoras named FPA Research Grant Recipient
Modoras Financial Performance Solutions in partnership with Griffith University has been named the recipient of the FPA’s Financial Planning Education Council’s (FPEC) research grant.
Griffith University and Modoras have worked together on various research projects for many years. This research aims to map financial planning support needs to small business owners. It will provide insight into the world of small business and how financial planners can assist them to increase their rate of survival.
Research into small businesses and their attitudes towards financial planners will help identity what motivates them to engage a financial planner and what financial advice is most valuable to them.
“As business and financial advisory services are emerging service categories, Modoras is committed to understanding how we can best support business owners to ensure they experience business success, potentially beyond what they had thought possible.” Modoras Brand and Communications Manager and Research Team Member, Mrs Emily Hein said.
“We are passionate about finding what more if possible for small businesses in Australia.” Hein added.
The FPEC was established by the FPA in 2011 as an independent body chartered with raising the standard of financial planning education and promoting financial planning as a distinct learning area and a career of choice. They have established an annual grants scheme, sponsored by the FPA to support the development of financial planning as an academic discipline.
