It pays to plan for the long term

To mark the success of their 25th year of business, Modoras Financial Performance Group has celebrated their birthday with the completion of their 18 month rebrand journey.
Founded in 1984 as FinancialLine, the privately owned business is currently managing over $350 million of client investment, a figure which cements their position as one of the top financial services in south east Queensland.
Group managing director, Peter Sarai said the company has grown from humble beginnings to employing over 20 staff who service over 400 clients across a number of service streams.
“Our growth has been a strategic evolution during which we have constantly strived to keep Modoras at the top of the industry,” Mr Sarai said.
“Our re-brand was focused on evolving our services to reflect the requirements of our clientele and the changing economic environment of the industry. It is a significant step forward to embrace the future and the services required to meet the needs of our expanding client diversity.
“Earlier this year we embarked on a business evolution that transformed the company from FinancialLine to Modoras Financial Performance Group including our two service offerings FinancialLine and StrataStream.”

“FinancialLine focuses on lifelong strategies and solutions such as wealth accumulation and superannuation.
“StrataStream offers client services in a tailored service approach delivered in close partnership with our clients existing professional advisers and is most suited to high net worth individuals, family groups and SME businesses.
Mr Sarai recognised that the repositioning of the business included a lot more than just a new company logo.
“It was a different approach to our business structure, office refurb, signage and company structures. We looked at who we were, who we wanted to be and what we had to do to get there,” he said.
Unlike many companies, the Modoras re-brand was the result of a team approach in which their staff played a pivotal role in capturing the company’s culture and passion.
“An attractive brand is one thing but our staff and clients have to believe in what it stands for and it is quite fitting that our new trading name, Modoras is bringing everything together.”
Recently recognized as one of the top 20 Independent Investment Advisory Bussinesss’ in Australia, the new look Modoras is enjoying much success.
“It is true that sometimes you have to innovate to accumulate and in our case it has paid to plan for the long term and position Modoras for the next 25 years of successful business,” he said.
