Celebration Follows Innovation for Modoras
Media Release: December 2008
Modoras Financial Performance Group is spreading its wings internationally in order to stay affront of global trends and to continue to grow their Brisbane-based business.
Recently returning from the International Company Directors Course (ICDC) in Dubai which highlights the role and responsibilities of director’s in international business, Modoras Group managing director, Peter Sarai said there was a growing need for Australian directors to stay on top of the global business environment.
“It’s no secret the traditional approach to conducting business has changed, especially in an international context. “
Attended by property and private equity specialists, foreign exchange professionals and leaders of global publically listed companies such as HSBC, the ICDC was the next step in furthering our education and equipping the Modoras team with the tools required to supply our services on an international stage,” Mr Sarai said.
“For Modoras to continually provide competitive value for our clients - especially those who have extensive North American, Asian, Indian and European investments - we must be at the forefront of global business trends; now that we have taken the initiative to complete the international research and build the relationships with the ICDC delegates, we are well positioned to respond and capitalise on these trends.”
Recently recognised as one of the top 20 dealers by the Independent Financial Advisors Magazine, Modoras’ 2008 international engagements have also included the invitation-only Austrade Australia mission to Microsoft Headquarters in Seattle.
“The Austrade mission was a great opportunity to showcase our financial services technology to the US market. The exercise definitely raised awareness of Australian capabilities and our commitment to investing into financial services technology,” said Mr Sarai.
“We have worked hard to develop our expertise and lead the field in a ‘new generation’ of financial services technologies and as only one of 10 Australian financial companies invited to Microsoft head quarters in Seattle, we believe our efforts are now showing a clear return which will be shared with industry and our clients.
“We are passionate about remaining at the top of our game and to do so we are committed to continuing to learn, develop and grow at a local and international level,” he said.
